WHAT IS THIS MEDICATION FOR?
Anaridex 1mg is prescribed to treat hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It helps lower the risk of cancer recurrence and progression by reducing estrogen levels in the body.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Anaridex contains Anastrozole, an aromatase inhibitor. It blocks the aromatase enzyme, which converts androgens into estrogen, thereby reducing estrogen levels that fuel the growth of estrogen-dependent breast cancer cells.

HOW TO USE?
Take one tablet of Anaridex 1mg once daily, with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Take at the same time each day. Do not alter or stop the dose without your doctor’s guidance.

SIDE EFFECTS
Common: Hot flashes, fatigue, joint pain, nausea, osteoporosis
Rare: Liver issues, skin rashes, depression, swelling of legs or ankles
Report persistent or serious side effects to your healthcare provider.

WHAT TO DO IF I MISS A DOSE?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not take two doses at once.

CAN I TAKE IT WITH OTHER MEDICINES?

Always inform your doctor about all other medications or supplements.
